Florida :: Miami/ South Beach

So after all the partying, a homie and myself traveled across Florida to see what the Miami ‘hype’ was about. We came in from the northwest and traveled down into the heart of Miami, and I must say, Miami has a rather nice as–I mean, personality? We traveled all the way down Key Biscayne to Miami Beach, to downtown and back to southwest Miami–the good neighborhood I suppose.

And I know what you’re thinking: Are the beautiful women really THAT abundant on Miami beach?
The answer: No, it’s just that the ugly ones hardly come outside.

Miami Beach, gorgeous women all around. I apologize, but Im not a creep.

Sidenote: Is “South Beach” even the term for Miami Beach? I wondered that the whole time we were there.

Wrecking Crew Orchestra Family

Now I know i might be late to the whole “Team Illuminate” from Show America’s Momma Your Talent or whatever people watch on television these days. But I came across this Eastern dance set that had me in COMPLETE awe. I will say after I watched “Wrecking Crew’s” set I watched Team Illuminate’s and wasnt really impressed due to the seemingly non-cohesiveness. I used to watch America’s Best Dance Crew and this was right up there with what I wouldve expect from one of the best squads on the show. Maybe even better. I might be able to say that this was the coolest dance set that I’ve seen since The Jabawockees.

Florida :: Sunset

This was the part of my journey where I split off right before 7:36pm to venture back to beach to catch the sunset. I was a TAD late due to the clouds, but I still managed to grab some pretty amazing shots. Now I can officially say I’ve been to all three coast in the United States. It may not seem like much to some people, but I know people who’s never been out of St.Louis. :\

Enjoy–more pictures soon.

And my little homie Jayden swagging it out–beach side.

Florida :: Sunrise

It isnt as easy to see but the moment when you step outside of your own city… or sometimes even your own neighborhood, you instantly get a chance to reflect on what it is you’re doing or want to do in life. Not necessarily what you want to do when you grow up, but more like your next steps to get you to what you might have chosen. I got a chance to step out of my home of St.Louis to see what Florida had to offer. It’s really spread out–but not as flat as Denver. I rather enjoyed myself though. It’s always interesting to see the changing demographics and hospitality from city to city.

I often wonder off by myself to get a feel for my surroundings and always come back with a story–and a GANG of pictures. This morning was NO different. I woke up at 4:00am (EST) and wandered for the upwards of 3hours. This is a bit of what I saw. (5/ 475pictures taken.)

I’ll post more later.
