June 15th, fresh back from vacation to DC and the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Walk is here. All the shirts were done and given to each respective attendant of “Team Tough Titties” and Mindy (our team’s celebrated breast cancer survivor) was in full party mode. It’s funny to see our group of walkers for Team Tough Titties get larger and larger. Along with Mindy’s family and friends–came friends all the way from the middle east; and accompanying me was my mildly large family.

The 3.5mile walk was fun as it always is. We were practically tired from the bags and bags of free promo items we received immediately before the race, but we made it in some 2hours and 30mins. I honestly can’t wait for next year’s race, I’m going to try to make year 6 the biggest and best one yet.

Thanks to everyone who came out and everyone who supported Team Tough Titties. Very special thanks to Mindy for the opportunity to work on the project, and congratulations on being a 5year survivor! Cheers!

I get approached often about how one may conjure a logo for themselves or their company. The best thing I learned to remedy that is to brainstorm it’s surrounding ideas or what’s known as ‘mind mapping’, and I learned it from this book. “Logo Design Love, by David Airey.” Ironically the chapter in the book Im referring to is free.. but I definitely recommend buying the full book.

I came across this custom built “living room pc” some time ago and saved it because I was gonna blog about how awesome it was. Fast-forward 13 months later and Im writing this blog :p Basically this is what happens when you take an idea and follow through with it. Now for those of you who know me–know Im a sucker for walnut *drool* and minimalist design (in no specific order). This PC was built by a “forum claimed”–”Supermodder” by the name of Gtek by the way of UK. It houses “any miniITX board, full size graphics card up to 190mm long, miniITX PSU, two HDDs/SSDs, and a slot loader optical drive.” but most importantly it’s solid walnuuu*drool*.

Anywho, cheers to inspiration and great design.

I really wanted to take my time to say thank you to Mrs.Haeffner and the little ones at Geggie for having me out to talk to her class about screen printing. It was a very fun experience and something that I kind of always wanted to do. I was a little nervous, but I rabbled through the blank stares in the class room, hahaha. At any rate though, I hope you all enjoy the tees i made for you all, it was quite they joy making them.
